Springtime Egg Decorating Workshop w/Studio Big Rock

Decorating eggs is a powerful springtime tradition celebrated throughout the world. Please join your friends and neighbors at The Yellow House as instructor Gina Melone shares inspiring imagery from some of these traditions and then leads us through various egg decorating techniques, ranging from ancient to modern methods.

During this hands on workshop, we will learn about and be inspired by traditional Pysanky (Ukrainian egg decorating). We will also experiment with marbleizing and resist techniques, and even use natural dyes made from common kitchen vegetable scraps.

This session provides fun, fresh ideas to help you spring into the season!

·      Any images that you care to use for inspiration. (Optional)
