About the workshop:
Have you ever looked to the natural world for advice? In this interactive workshop, we’ll consider the perspectives of some of our nonhuman neighbors, learning about how they live and imagining what wisdom they might share with us. Through brief research and writing exercises, we’ll get to know other species (and ourselves!) while writingcreatively, stretching our empathetic imaginations, and having fun.
This workshop is designed for both adults and young people (ages 12 and up). No experience is needed, other than a willingness to think imaginatively about nonhuman creatures and what we might learn from them.
The ticket ($20) includes writing materials and a copy of Giaimo’s ‘Leaving The Ocean Was a Mistake’. Space is limited - reserve here.
