Craft your very own tiny book jewelry with local artist Andre Lee Bassuet. You'll make a set of two tiny books using the drum leaf binding method. You can keep it as is or turn them into a wearable piece of jewelry, like a necklace or earrings. 

About the Instructor:

Andre Lee Bassuet is an artist, designer and educator based in Rhode Island. She completed her MFA at Osaka University of Arts and a Bachelors from New York University. As a book artist, she reuses materials that have been discarded or forgotten to explore themes of trauma, resilience and belonging.  She is currently teaching the Art of the Book at Brown University.
